Go Green! Now is the time to green your home by using less toxic, sustainably-harvested materials and energy-saving approaches. I can help you with any projects or concerns you may have. When funding is needed consider the Sonoma County Energy Independence Program. In March 2009 Sonoma Co. became the first in the state to offer loans to property owners to make homes more water and energy efficient. The loans are repaid in installments as assessments on property tax bills. Improvements include new windows, skylights and doors, new heating and cooling systems, insulation, tankless hot water heaters, low flow toilets and irrigation systems, solar water heater systems and photovoltaics.
